A little bit about Leslie Simmons

A Bartow County native, Leslie Vaughan Simmons earned her B.S. in Chemistry in 1995 from the Georgia Institute of Technology and her J.D. in 2000 from the Georgia State University College of Law. She began her legal career as law clerk to the Superior Court Judges of the Cherokee Judicial Circuit and later worked part-time for a local law firm. Since that time, she has mediated hundreds of cases and represented clients in adoptions, domestic, probate and real estate matters.  She now devotes an extensive portion of her practice to real estate closings, tree trespass cases, and other real property litigation.

Leslie is admitted to practice law in the State of Georgia and is a member of the Bartow County Bar Association, and the State Bar of Georgia.  She is active in the community.  She served on the board of Bartow Family Resources for six years..  She teaches and mentors a high-school aged girls’ group at her church.  She is a member of a local running club.  She enjoys running and she competes in triathlons, road races and ultra trail runs.  She lives in Rydal with her husband, Robby.  She has three adult children.
